ABSTRACTImprovised explosive may be as primitive as a fuel and oxidizer mixture; yet not all fuel-oxidizer mixtures are explosive. Predicting explosive potential from laboratory-scale tests is desirable to screen a large matrix of potential threats in varying concentrations. Herein the properties of various fuel/oxidizer mixtures were measured at small scale (2 g) with bomb calorimetry and on large scale (5 kg) with high speed photography for detonation velocity and with piezoelectric pressure probes for TNT air blast equivalence. Potassium nitrate (KN), potassium chlorate (KC), potassium permanganate (KMnO4), potassium iodate (KIO3), ammonium nitrate (AN), and ammonium perchlorate (AP) were prepared with sucrose (Su) and aluminum (Al) fuel. 为确定煤矿型水胶炸药在储存过程中受到环境因素影响,是否会对煤矿型水胶炸药的安全稳定性能产生影响,特进行本次试验。试验采用小样本升降法得出半数引火量来确定炸药的可燃气安全值从而得出水胶炸药受到环境影响程度。试验结果表明:煤矿型水胶炸药在煤矿环境存储过程中的安全性可达400g以上,为水胶炸药的储存稳定性提供了理论依据。 相似文献

The red emission with suitable peak wavelength and narrow band is acutely required for high color rendering index (CRI) white LEDs without at the cost of the luminous efficacy. Herein, the Li2Ca2Mg2Si2N6:Eu2+ red phosphor was prepared with facile solid-state method using Ca3N2, Mg3N2, Si3N4, Li3N, and Eu2O3 as the safety raw materials under atmospheric pressure for the first time, which shows red emission peaking at 638 nm with full width at half maximum (FWHM) of 62 nm under blue light irradiation and becomes the desired red phosphor to realize the balance between luminous efficacy and high CRI in white LEDs. The morphology, structure, luminescence properties, thermal quenching behavior, and chromaticity stability of the Li2Ca2Mg2Si2N6:Eu2+ phosphor are investigated in detail. Concentration quenching occurs when the Eu2+ content exceeds 1.0 mol%, whereas high-temperature photoluminescent measurements show a 32% drop from the room-temperature efficiency at 423 K. In view of the excellent luminescence performances of Li2Ca2Mg2Si2N6:Eu2+ phosphor, a white LEDs with CRI of 91 as a proof-of-concept experiment was fabricated by coating the title phosphor with Y3Al5O12:Ce3+ on a blue LED chip. In addition, the potential application of the title phosphor in plant growth LED device was also demonstrated. All the results indicate that Li2Ca2Mg2Si2N6:Eu2+ is a promising red-emitting phosphor for blue LED-based high CRI white LEDs and plant growth lighting sources. 相似文献

This paper introduces a 340-GHz polarisation converter. The polarisation converter consists of a bilayer metamaterial, which is processed by the flexible thin film lithography method. Two-dimensional metamaterial offer such advantages over traditional quarter-wave-plates as compactness, low profile and simple fabrication process, but the insertion loss is comparably high. In order to lower the insertion loss, the 10-μm ultrathin polyimide substrate and a bilayer structure separated by a quarter wavelength air impedance match layer are adopted. After the horn antenna’s far-field test by vector network analyser and the Gaussian beam test based on Terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS), the results show that in the band of 325–350 GHz, the transmission loss is less than 2 dB, and the axial ratio is less than 3 dB; besides, simulation and test insertion loss performance difference is less than 1 dB, which indicates that the method we adopt is effective. The online measurement of wet gas with extremely-low liquid loading (Lockhart-Martinelli parameter lower than 0.02) remains a challenge. In this study, three types of throttle devices, Venturi, orifice plate and cone, are compared experimentally with air-water two-phase flow in a horizontal pipe of inner diameter of 50 mm. High-precision correlations are established to measure the gas and liquid flowrates via a single throttle device. Results show that the two-phase mass flow coefficient (K) of the three throttle devices all increase linearly with the liquid densiometric Froude number and the K correlations are established respectively to correct the gas mass flowrate deviation. The pressure loss ratio (δ) for Venturi is sensitive and monotonous to the liquid loading, which contributes to the high accuracy of liquid flowrate measurement. By incorporating the K correlations, both the gas and liquid mass flowrates can be predicted precisely. The relative error of the gas mass flowrate predicted by the Venturi is within ±2.0% at 95% confidence level, and that of the liquid mass flowrate is within ±15% at 90% confidence level. 相似文献
